Employment Solicitor - Respondent - Award Winning Firm
One of the regions' most prominent law firms is continuing with the expansion of its highly rated Employment Team and is now eager to appoint an additional Employment Solicitor to its team which is based at the firms' modern offices in the heart of Warwickshire.
This award-winning practice is a full service Legal 500 listed and Chambers ranked law firm that offers specialist legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to clients on both a local and a national basis. The firm prides itself of on being a people centric business and takes great pride in ensuring that it places its members at the heart of everything it does.
Because of an increase of new instructions from existing clients as well as new client wins, the team is keen to bring on board an experienced Employment Solicitor to deal with a broad remit of employment matters. You will have anything between 1 to 5 years' PQE and will be well versed in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Acting on behalf of respondents, you will advise and draft Settlement Agreements, provide corporate support on a variety of issues to include TUPE matters and also defend any claims levelled at the firms' clients.
In addition, you will also participate in business development, marketing and networking so that you can generate new business for the team, either by way of promoting the team in its own standalone capacity and also by working alongside the heads of other departments covering different practice areas and identify which clients would benefit from a dedicated employment offering. Clearly, the more commercially minded and successful you are, the swifter you will progress through the firms' structure.
This is the perfect role for an ambitious Employment Solicitor who is looking to join the major player in the region and who is able to offer access to high quality matters on behalf of a variety of clients who are highly rated in their sectors. As this is an ever-growing team there will be opportunities for progression, so this firm can take your career to the next stage which is particularly pertinent given many of the firms more senior members joined the practice in a junior capacity.
A very competitive salary is naturally on offer given the firms' reputation in the market and the benefits package includes 25 days' holiday, private medical insurance, subsidised parking and a host of corporate discounts in addition to a lucrative bonus scheme.
