Employment Solicitor - FTC (12 Months)
Our client is a well known national firm with an excellent reputation in providing Employment advice to individuals.
They are looking for an experienced Employment (claimant) lawyer to join their Leeds office on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
You will be advising claimants including Trade Union members on a wide variety of Employment matters including unfair dismissal, compromise agreements, discrimination and TUPE matters.
The right candidate will ideally have at least 3 years' experience of running their own caseload of matters from start to finish and have good experience of undertaking advocacy in the Employment Tribunal from preliminary hearing to full hearings.
The firm act on behalf of Trade Unions so someone with a background in providing advice to them would be desirable although this is not a necessity.
Although this is a FTC contract there is always the possibility of the position becoming permanent, although this is not a guarantee.
