Data Protection Solicitor
Leading Legal 500 firm
Our client is a young, dynamic and exciting, niche tech law firm situated in the heart of South East London. Their history dates back nearly two decades as being one of the first specialist tech law firms in London providing high quality advice to corporate giants, SMEs and individual entrepreneurs on matters in intellectual property, commercial, corporate and employment law.
In light of the new GDPR regime, they are now looking for a technically strong junior IP lawyer (from 1 years PQE upwards) with a commercial contracts or privacy background to join their market leading Technology/ Commercial Contracts team due to an influx of work.
The role will be working with some of the leading intellectual property lawyers in the South on non-contentious IP work including those at the forefront of technological innovation, dealing with everything from routine compliance strategies and polices to in depth analysis of clients' data processes and guidance on interpretation of the new rules.
A genuine interest in data protection is critical as the role requires someone to work with minimal supervision and in time, start to build their own practice within the firm.
The salary and benefits package is market leading, as is the exposure to top quality work, they have a genuine understanding of work/life balance and it is rare to find someone in the office past 6:30pm, a scarcity in London!
