Court of Protection Solicitor - Flexible Working
QED Legal is working with a very highly rated Legal 500 listed national practice which is keen to appoint an additional experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to its very well regarded Court of Protection Team at Associate level and be based at the firms' modern Birmingham city centre offices.
This award winning firm is a full service offering and has both a national and international reach. It is able to boast a significant number of Tier 1 rated lawyers as well as a stellar client base.
The Court of Protection Team deals with the full range of Court of Protection work and has a national reach due to its network of offices. The team has a reputation as being at the forefront of the sector and its success is in part down to its collaborative approach which allows the team to leverage off the expertise of other practice areas to enable it to advise on planning, investments and financial management in order to compliment its Court of Protection offering. The effect of this is that the team deals with some of the most complex and high value Court of Protection work in the country and often acts for clients who are on a very sound financial footing.
Working closely with experienced Court of Protection specialists, you will be tasked with handling your own challenging caseload of a variety of Court of Protection matters to include applications for the appointments of Deputies, Statutory Will Applications and the administration of financial affairs for those who are lacking the relevant capacity. You will also deal with the daily management of financial matters which will entail liaising with investment advisors, fund managers and accountants as well having to deal with local authorities in relation to funding issues. The firm is open on the level of PQE and so is keen to speak with those with anything from 2 years PQE up to around 6 years' PQE.
This firm really does promote a supportive and collaborative approach and is particularly keen on professional development so you will be able to take advantage of an agreed transparent and defined talent progression plan, with the benefit of a mentor if required, to ensure that you reach your full potential.
The practice is offering a very competitive salary along with a lucrative bonus scheme. In addition, the firm is able to offer one of the best benefit schemes on the market which includes a generous holiday allowance, private healthcare and medical plans, travel subsidies and the option of flexible working.
