Conveyancing Assistant- Northampton

A successful, growing and modern firm are on the lookout for experienced paralegals or conveyancing assistants to join their residential property team.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in assisting fee earners within a conveyancing department and have a good working knowledge of the conveyancing process as well as being highly organised in order to operate effectively in a thriving department. You will be expected to perform a broad range of conveyancing assistant tasks such as opening and closing files, liaising with clients over the telephone to keep them updated with regards to there transactions, dealing with incoming post, applying for searches and other administrative duties as directed by the fee earners you will be supporting.

The firm will offer excellent progression, training and support to develop you in your role and ensure that you develop into a first class residential property lawyer so would be perfect for candidates with some experience looking for a firm to fulfill their potential and progress.

Suitable for those currently working as conveyancing assistants or alternatively those working in a legal secretarial position within a conveyancing team with a good grasp of the process looking to make the step up to a conveyancing assistant/paralegal role.
