Commercial Property Solicitor - Broad Remit of Real Estate
An award winning Legal 500 listed regional practice is enjoying an increase in instructions and so is eager to appoint and additional Commercial Property Solicitor to its Real Estate Team.
Based in the heart of Coventry, the firm is a full-service practice and is regarded as one of the leading firms in Warwickshire. The firm is held in high esteem in the locality and provides the full range of legal services to individuals and commercial entities alike and is a regular contributor to a number of charitable initiatives within the locality.
The Real Estate Team is enjoying a period of growth due to an influx of instructions from a longstanding client base and so it is seeking to strengthen its offering with the hire of an additional experienced Commercial Property Solicitor who is able to deal with a broad mix of real estate work. You will have anything from 2 to 5 years' PQE and have experience of dealing with development work, acquisitions and disposals and general landlord and tenant work. You will deal with good quality matters emanating from a client base that prefers to instruct a firm within the locality and you will be exposed to some very interesting and challenging development projects which the firm are currently undertaking within the region.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department and, in addition to file handling, you will also be afforded the opportunity to participate in business development activities to open up new revenue streams. You will have access to high quality work from a longstanding and well-established client base and you will enjoy support from secretaries and paralegals to enable you to focus on getting the job done rather than being tied down by administration.
The firm is offering a competitive salary along with a very good benefits package which includes a bonus scheme, childcare vouchers and subsidised parking along with an abundance of progression opportunities. The practice is proud to boast a very friendly and down to earth culture and very much looks to promote from within, so this is a great opportunity for those who are looking for a more traditional role rather than a very specific, compartmentalised real estate role which is more likely to be found with larger, national practices in Birmingham city centre.
