Commercial Litigation Solicitor
I am working with a fantastic firm in Newcastle who are looking for a talented Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their team.
The firm has grown year on year with turnover expected to hit in excess of £20m by 2022. The Commercial Litigation vacancy is a new post due to that growth and work in the department.
The firm attracts really strong lawyers due to the fact they can offer top quality, high value and complex work without the 'dog eat dog' culture of working at a larger national/international practice and as such this would be perfect for those candidate who want more of a work-life balance who already live and work in the North East, or those perhaps with ties and connections to the North East who are looking to return.
This role will be suited to lawyers with around 1-3 yrs worth of PQE. You will carry your own varied caseload of Commercial Litigation matters dealing with director, shareholder and partnership disputes, insurance disputes, contested probate, property litigation and IP disputes. You will also assist a Partner on more high value and complex matters.
Core hours are 9am to 5pm and you will find yourself leaving at 5pm more often than not. There is no 'expectation' that you should stay out of hours unless it is absolutely necessary for you to do so. The culture is really friendly and there is plenty of support and the chance to progress.
Salary is competitive based on experience as is the benefits package.
If you would like to hear about the role in more detail please contact Graham Rawlinson at QED Legal for a confidential chat.
