Commercial Litigation Paralegal
One of the regions' most prominent law firms is continuing with the expansion of its highly rated Dispute Resolution Team and is now eager to appoint an additional Commercial Litigation Paralegal to its team which is based at the firms' modern offices in the heart of Warwickshire.
This award-winning practice is a full service Legal 500 listed and Chambers ranked law firm that offers specialist legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to clients on both a local and a national basis. The firm prides itself of on being a people centric business and takes great pride in ensuring that it places its members at the heart of everything it does.
Because of an increase of new instructions from existing clients as well as new client wins, the team is keen to bring on board a commercial litigation paralegal to provide support and assistance to solicitors working on complex litigated matters. The team is recognised as a specialist in its sector and is able to boast a national client base, so you will be exposed to a variety of matters to include financial disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes and contentious technology issues. You will be required to review and draft a variety of documents, liaise with clients, Counsel and expert witnesses, undertake legal research and be involved in preparing mattes for Trial.
You will ideally have a minimum of 12 months' experience of dealing with commercial litigation matters and, importantly, you will be enthusiastic and ambitious about forging a career within the commercial litigation sector. Whilst not a pre-requisite, it would be advantageous if you have completed the LPC (or are in the process of doing so) or are studying via the CILEX route.
This is the perfect role for a confident and driven paralegal who is looking to join the major player in the region and which is able to offer access to high quality matters on behalf of a variety of clients who are highly rated in their sectors. As this is an ever-growing team there will be opportunities for progression, so this firm can take your career to the next stage which is particularly pertinent given many of the firms more senior members joined the practice in a junior capacity. Time served at this practice will almost certainly strengthen any training contract applications you may make in the future.
A competitive salary is naturally on offer given the firms' reputation in the market and the benefits package includes 22 days' holiday, private medical insurance, subsidised parking and a host of corporate discounts in addition to a lucrative bonus scheme.
