An award winning full service national commercial practice is keen to recruit a Clinical Negligence Paralegal to its highly regarded Clinical Negligence Team be based at the firms' modern office in Birmingham city centre.

The Clinical Negligence Team has an excellent reputation in the market and acts on behalf of those pursuing claims as a result of medical negligence. The team has been instrumental in securing multi-million-pound compensation awards on behalf of clients who have sadly suffered life changing injuries and their expertise stretches to covering the full remit of medical negligence matters.
The team is looking for someone with a minimum of 6 months' experience of working in the claimant clinical negligence sector and who has ideally completed (or is in the process of) the LPC and/or the CILEX qualification. Your role will centre around assisting senior solicitors on complex medical negligence cases meaning that you will be exposed to litigated Multi-Track matters. You will have a wide remit that will comprise reviewing medical evidence, undertaking legal research in relation to quantum, liability and causation, preparing witness statements and liaising with lay clients, medical experts and Counsel.
You will be ambitious, commercially aware, have a desire to forge a career within the clinical negligence sector and you will have excellent client care skills, particularly because you will be assisting clients on sensitive matters so this really is a great opportunity for those whose career is in its infancy. It is pertinent to note that the firm also encourages training contract applications from internal candidates.
